The Manager of the Business Analysis and Portfolio Management team will lead a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to achieve best in class systems analysis and implementation. The Manager will interface with key stakeholders across the entire organization to intake, prioritize, define scope, benefit, and business processes. The Manager is the sounding board to the IT team to mitigate requirement ambiguity while coaching the BA Team to achieve a best-in-class requirement gathering process. The Manager will act as a player/coach, facilitating projects themselves as well as coaching the team. The Manager will actively manage the resource forecast, allocations to ensure alignment with the division budget and delivery of corporate strategic goals and objectives.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required.
Experience: At least 5-7 Years of technology and/or PM/BA experience, preferably with a P&C insurance carrier. Management experience required. 5-10 years of experience administering a policy administration system from an IT perspective is required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.
Travel: Minimum, as required.
