    Title: Litigation Assistant


    You'll Report to: Managing Attorney


    The Litigation Assistant will be responsible for file management and general clerical and administrative claim and litigation-related tasks in support of the American Integrity Litigation Department. 

    What You’ll Do

    • CRN assignments and tracking
    • Scheduling (depos, EUOs, hearings)
    • Trial calendar
    • Pay invoices
    • Filing court documents
    • Copying and clerical
    • Travel scheduling and expense reports for attorneys
    • Prep simple form letters
    • Prep settlement documents for attorney review
    • Calendar deadlines (Answers, Discovery, etc.)
    • Mail intake
    • Setting up and maintaining litigation matters in litigation management system

    What You’ll Need to be a Top Candidate

    EducationAssociate’s Degree preferred in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business, Insurance, or related field required. 


    Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience as a litigation or administrative assistant, preferably within the Florida state court system,or in a law firm or legal department or insurance company.


    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with tools used by remote employees, as this person will support remote attorneys.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Professional and demonstrates high integrity
    • Shifts focus or course of action when necessary; flexible
    • Resilient, maintaining high levels of performance under stress
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent organization and planning skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Your Environment

    Working Conditions: Normal business office environment.  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.  The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers. 


    Travel: Not generally required.
