Your Title: Application Architect
The Application Architect is responsible for designing, conduct R&D, and perform complex project development for Guidewire InsuranceNow. This highly qualified professional will be configuring and customizing our policy, billing, and claims administration software, as well as other programming tasks outside the system such as integration using external API’s. Working with Developers and other team members, the Application Architect will elicit, analyze, validate, verify and manage the needs of stakeholders throughout the organization, focused on providing customized solutions within the system. The Application Architect will define best practice, develop architecture artifacts, and provide leadership to the project teams of development guidelines and solutions. Integrate with Low-Code solutions such as Outsystems is part of our future state solution.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/MIS or related field.
Experience: Minimum of Seven (7) Years’ experience with Java programming. Insurance or P&C experience preferred.
Skills / Knowledge:
Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a telephone. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.
Travel: Minimum, as required.
