    Title: Project Leader


    You'll Report to: Director, Advanced Analytics


    The Project Leader will be responsible for managing strategic and cross-departmental initiatives and supporting the team in the execution of end-to-end engagements.  Qualified applicants will have a proven history of project management with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization. Strong project management and consulting skills are essential for this role.  


    What You’ll Do

    • Lead and support end-to-end special projects for the organization.
    • Consult with key talent and business stakeholders surrounding workforce challenges
    • Identify and propose solutions to solve complex workforce problems and develop, prepare and present these findings through compelling presentations to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate, prepare for, and lead all conversations and presentations supporting special projects with limited direction.
    • Coordinate and direct all resources associated with special projects including business stakeholders, HR partners and business analysts supporting the project.
    • Supports team in the execution of full end-to-end workforce planning engagements, including the facilitation of stakeholder meetings, data analysis, and the creation of compelling presentation to communicate key findings.
    • Lead large workstreams of the project with limited direction and coordinate and direct project resources to achieve objectives.
    • Mentor, develop and coach business analysts to support the operational objectives and strategy.

    What You’ll Need to be a Top Candidate

    Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or any other quantitative field preferred.  MBA is highly desirable.


    Experience: 5-7 years of industry experience required.  Preferred candidate will possess experience specifically in P&C insuarnce. 


    Skills & Knowledge:         

    • Strong critical thinking skills. Able to apply judgment during analysis about how components fit together and with bigger picture.
    • Strong ability to use experience and analysis to gain support and influence others.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and coach junior team members.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities with limited oversight.
    • Strong time management skills.

    Your Environment

    Working Conditions: Normal business office environment.  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.  The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.


    Travel: Minimum, as required.
