This Job: Market Research Analyst


You'll Report To: VP of Marketing


What You'll Do: The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for gathering, organizing and reporting market-related information to support objectives of the marketing and sales departments.  Using these analytical insights, the Market Research Analyst will work with the VP of Marketing and other stakeholders throughout the organization on initiatives designed to strengthen the American Integrity brand in the marketplace and drive strategy, launch plans, positioning and messaging for all products, both current and new.

What You’ll Do

What You'll Be Responsible For:


  • Researching industry trends and direction especially as it relates to both property/casualty and reinsurance to grow our book of business. Research will include both primary methods (interviews, focus groups, surveys) and secondary (journal publications, professional documents, and regulations).
  • Developing and enhancing our customer segmentation models.
  • Developing models to improve customer retention (loyalty), lifetime value, and overall profitability.
  • Exploring new data sources and analytical techniques to ensure ongoing competitive advantage.
  • Conducting and coordinating research, predictive modeling and/or analytics projects leading to applied business results.
  • Conducting comprehensive marketing analysis and enhance various marketing dashboards.
  • Working with the marketing team on content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search engines.
  • Managing search engine marketing campaigns as appropriate to maximize ROI.
  • Generating monitoring reports for key marketing metrics and results to track business performance and identify areas of opportunities and risks.
  • Monitoring and reporting test results.
  • Managing adhoc analyses to support both the marketing department and the overall consumer Markets business.

What You’ll Need to be a Top Candidate

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics or other quantitative discipline strongly preferred, although an exception could be made for an individual with extensive professional training.
Experience: 2-4 years of statistical modeling, Design of Experiments, and/or SQL.


  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including ability to create pivot tables
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse, data marts, data cubes, queries, and reports
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment
  • Solid Analytical/statistical skills
  • Ability to think deeply about statistical issues as well as business and marketing implications.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels of business stakeholders to understand and interpret business requirements for the creation of deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no direction.
  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent project management skills; proven ability to collaborate with different constituencies and manage tasks to ensure deadlines are met and a quality product is produced.

Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.

Travel: Minimum, as required.
